Reid and Riege Announces Two Attorneys Have Joined the Firm

Reid and Riege is pleased to announce the addition of two attorneys – Cathryn A. Reynolds and Patricia J. Murphy. They have joined the firm’s Hartford office. Cate is a member of the Business Law Practice Area and Trisha is a member of the firm’s Health Care Practice Area.

Cate provides counsel to entities and individual clients regarding their commercial law needs. Her practice involves assisting business owners and other stakeholders in the various stages of a business life cycle. She assists clients at the outset of their business planning by providing guidance on formation, governance and business owner relations, as well as counseling on the day to day legal needs that arise, including commercial contract negotiation and drafting. She also guides clients through complex transactions, such as acquisitions, divestitures, mergers and commercial lending and borrowing arrangements. Before joining Reid and Riege, Cate practiced for more than ten years with an Am Law 200 firm, where she was a partner in the Business Transaction and Finance practice groups. Cate received her J.D. from the University of Connecticut School of Law and her B.A., cum laude, from Colby College.

Trisha’s practice focuses on a wide array of corporate, regulatory, and transactional matters for physicians, physician practices, hospitals, behavioral health organizations, ambulatory surgical centers, imaging centers, home health and hospice care, and other health and human services organizations. While in law school, Trisha served as an intern for the Honorable Dominic J. Squatrito of the United States District Court, District of Connecticut. Trisha received her J.D., with high honors, from the University of Connecticut School of Law. She graduated second in her class. Trisha received her B.A., magna cum laude, Phi Beta Kappa, from Dartmouth College.
